Adeline Rose Cable

Adeline Rose (Engels) Cable was born on September 12, 1913,, in Westerheim Township to Henry and Rachel (Van Keulen) Engels. She attended St. Agnes School in Ghent. On June 8, 1943, she was united in marriage to Joseph Cable at St. Eloi Catholic Church in Ghent. In December of 1984, the couple moved to Marshall. Adeline loved music and also enjoyed having her solo and bridge parties. She and her husband also enjoyed playing “500”. Adeline was a member of the Marshall Council of Catholic Women, the Catholic Daughter’s of the Americas and the Senior Citizen’s Center in Marshall. Survivors include Bernadine (James Prokop) Cable of Minnetonka, Jean (Donald) Bobleter of Buffalo, Donald (Jan) Cable of Eden Prairie, grandchildren Lindsey and Grant Cable, and brother Robert Engels of Roseville. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two brothers. Adeline enjoyed her family and grandchildren.
