Agnes Frances Fezler was born on December 18, 1915 to Anna (Spinner) and Philip Fezler on a farm near Ivanhoe in Lincoln County. She was baptized and confirmed at St. John Cantius Church in Wilno, Minnesota. Agnes helped on the farm while attending country grade school and Ivanhoe High School. She then moved to Marshall and worked as a nanny for several families. She also worked in the restaurant at the Atlantic Hotel.
Agnes and Harry Przybys were united in marriage on July 2, 1938 at St. John Cantius Catholic Church in Wilno, MN. They farmed with Harryâs family, Agnes tending to the household, and helping in the fields. To this marriage three children were born. In 1946 they moved to Marshall, and in 1956 they moved to Ghent. Agnes enjoyed life and raising her family â in a gentle, smiling manner. Agnes worked at the Marshall Produce Company for 22 years. Harry died in 1975.
Agnes and Lawrence Peppersack were united in marriage on March 11, 1978 at the Church of St Peter in Delano, MN. They managed a gas station; Agnes handled the bookkeeping and also owned a vending machine business. Agnes began caring for her mother, Anna, in 1982. Shortly after Lawrenceâs death in 1984, Agnes and Anna moved to Marshall MN to be near family.
Agnes loved being with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed playing cards, bingo, visiting and laughing, and keeping in touch with family and friends. Agnes held several officer positions for the Marshall Square Apartments Tenants Association. She was a member of the CCW at St. Peterâs in Delano, and Holy Redeemer in Marshall, MN. She enjoyed baking and embroidering pillowcases and dishtowels.
Agnes is survived by her Children: Ken Przybys, Gordon, WI, Roger and Shirley Przybys, Marshall MN, Judie and Joe Gawarecki, Marshall MN, and daughter-in-law Arlene Przybys, Pipestone, MN. Six Grandchildren: Connie Przybys, Kellie Kounkel, Lenny (Carol) Przybys, Troy (Beth) Przybys, Matt (Letaila) Gawarecki, and Sara Przybys. Eight Great-Grandchildren: Amber, Anna, Jazmin, Jesse, Joey, Jurni, Allison, and Alexis. Sisters-in-law: Emily Przybys, Wilno, MN, Mary (Willis) Lutzwick, Marshall MN. Ann Vlach, Delores Van Dromme, Charlott (Russell) Hentges, and Anna Marie (Ken) Goodale; and by many nieces and nephews.
Agnes is preceded in death by both husbands, Harry Przybys and Lawrence Peppersack. Przybys in-laws: Regina & Mark Stynski, Joe & Rose Przybys, Ben Przybys, Eleanor & Louie Bednarek, and Leona & Sylvester Gawarecki; and also many Peppersack in-laws.
