Mass of Christian Burial for Albert Dalle, 79, of Tracy, will be at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 13, 2014, at St. Maryâs Catholic Church in Tracy. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. â 3:00 p.m Saturday at the church. Interment will take place in Granberry, TX, at a later date.
Albert Julius Dalle was born on August 3, 1935, in Rural Marshall, to Gaston and Anna (Sinave) Dalle. He grew up on the family farm. In September of 1958, he was united in marriage to Helene aka Helen Poulos at St. Eloi Catholic Church in Ghent. The couple lived in a variety of communities before settling on a farm south of Marshall. Albert was a hard worker. In addition to farming he worked at other jobs including many years for Doom & Cuypers construction. After retirement, the couple moved to Weatherford, TX. After Helenâs death, Albert returned to Tracy. In January, 2010, he was united in marriage to Irene Bakker. Irene died in May, 2013. Albert enjoyed gardening, farming and John Deere equipment. He also enjoyed reading, especially Readers Digest, Catholic Digest and National Geographic. He was most passionate about his family and was a devout Catholic.
Albert died on Monday, December 08, 2014, under the care of hospice at his sonâs residence in Raymond. He is survived by his children John (and Lupe) Dalle of Marshall, Loretta (and Gene) Ivy of Austin, TX, Geri (and Dale) Johnson of Lakeville, Roger Dalle of Marshall, David Dalle of Marshall, Cheryl (and Kevin) DeJaeghere of Sioux Falls, Denise (and Greg) Poskas of Elko, Gloria Poulos of Mankato, Regina (and Dan) Casper of Great Bend, KS, Greg (and Michelle) Dalle of Raymond, 17 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, brothers Andrew, Oscar and LeMonde, sisters Bertha Bottelberghe, Maggie Maserek and Leona McDougall, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, wives Helen and Irene, daughters Rita and Mary, and son Gerard.
