Alice M. Trulock age 94 of Tracy, MN died Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at the Prairie View Healthcare Center in Tracy. Services will be 10:30 AM Saturday, January 26, 2013 at the Zion Lutheran Church in Tracy. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday. Interment will be in the Hendricks Cemetery in Hendricks, MN. The Almlie Funeral Home of Tracy is handling the arrangements.
Alice Mary Trulock was born September 19, 1918 to Henry and Helen (Binnebose) Lang on a farm in Pipestone County, MN. She was baptized in November of 1918 in Pipestone and later confirmed in 1930 at the German Lutheran Church in Hendricks, MN. She also attended country school near Hendricks.
Alice married Ralph Trulock and they had four sons. She made her home in the Lake Benton area where she raised her children. She worked for many years in the restaurant business and owned and operated the âLog Cabinâ restaurant in Tyler. In 1974 she moved to Tracy, MN, and was employed by the Tracy Nursing Home as a dietary aid, until her retirement in 1993.
She was a current member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Tracy, where she had been active in the church womenâs groups over the years. She enjoyed crocheting, flower gardening, and spending time with her family.
On July 22, 2009 Alice became a resident of the Prairie View Healthcare Center in Tracy, where she died, Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at the age of 94.
Alice is survived by her two sons, Myron Trulock and Roger (Diana) Trulock, both of Garvin, MN; daughter-in-law, Lola (Trulock) McDonald; eight grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; one sister, Alvera Sik of Hendricks, MN; one brother, Norman (Juanita) Lang of Venetta, OR; one sister-in-law, Marcella Lang of Starbuck, MN; many nieces, nephews and friends.
Her two sons, Eugene and Dale, her parents, daughter-in-law, Sandy Trulock, three brothers, Alvin, Don and Millard Lang and two sisters, Mildred Gehrts and Helen Klein preceded her in death.
The family requests that memorials be given to either:
Zion Lutheran Church or the Compassionate Care Hospice.
