Andrew Haneca

Andrew L.Haneca was born on November 11, 1914 to Camiel and Leonie (Van Parys) Haneca in Ghent, Mn. He attended country school in the Ghent area. He worked as a plasterer with his brother-in-law, Marcel Blomme and also farmed with the Louwagies. Andrew moved to St. Paul and worked for the St. Paul Maintenance Department for 30 years. In 1974 he married Jacqueline Priggy from Rochester, Mn. Andrew L. Haneca died on April 6, 2008 in St. Paul, Mn. He is survived by his siblings, Bertha Blomme of Marshall, Joseph Haneca of Cottonwood, John Haneca of Lake City, and many nephews and nieces. His Nephew, Chuck Haneca managed Andrew’s personal and financial affairs in later years. Andrew was preceded in death by his wife of 32 years, Jacqueline, his parents Camiel and Leonie, his sisters Elizabeth Haneca and Alma (John) Fligge.
