Ann Marie (Mosch) Larson was born on October 11, 1917, in Hosmer, SD, to Peter and Margaret Mary (Dekker) Mosch. Ann worked during World War II as a riveter, building bombers in Detroit. After the war, she worked as a telephone operator and also at various jobs in department stores in the Detroit area. She was married to Chester Larson. Chester and sons Tyrone and Larry all served in the U.S. Army. Ann enjoyed reading books, playing cards, bingo and doing puzzles. She was also fond of praying the Rosary. Ann died on Wednesday, November 20, 2013, at Avera Morningside Heights Care Center in Marshall.
She is survived by her son, Tyrone (and Julie) Larson of Asheville, NC, sister Mary Hastings of Marshall, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester, son Larry, brothers Peter Mosch, John Mosch, Nick Mosch, Frank Mosch, Martin Mosch and Jack Mosch.
