Anna Mae (Schons) Breczinski was born on February 27, 1923, in Amiret Township, the tenth of 12 children born to John and Elizabeth (Wester) Schons. She attended country school and graduated from Tracy High School. On November 9, 1946, Anna Mae was united in marriage to Andrew Breczinski at St. Maryâs Catholic Church in Tracy. The couple lived south of Marshall, then in Marshall for a time before purchasing a farm in Sodus Township in 1961. Anna Mae moved back to Marshall in February of 2012. She enjoyed embroidery, gardening, fishing, playing cards and dominoes and following the Minnesota Twins. She enjoyed keeping busy and taking care of her house. Anna Mae also enjoyed visiting and always had a hot meal available for family and friends. She was most passionate about her family, especially her grandchildren. Anna Mae died on Sunday, October 27, 2013, at the Avera Marshall Regional Medical Center in Marshall.
Survivors include her children Allen (and Pat) Breczinski of Tracy, Dean (and Karen) Breczinski of Coeur dâ Alene, ID, Duane (and Jen) Breczinski of Marshall, Barbara (and Brad) Rau of Marshall, Mary (and Kevin) Gregoire of Marshall, Joan Breczinski and special friend Alan Peterson of Spicer, Janet (and Shannon) Christenson of Amiret, 17 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren, in-laws Mary Lou Schons, James Foley, Gordon (and Rachel) Breczinski, Julius (and Rose Marie) Breczinski and Loretta Breczinski, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Andrew, six brothers, five sisters and many in-laws.
