Anna âAnneâ Lillian Rolling, age 90 of Tracy, passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at the Prairie View Senior Living in Tracy. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 am Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at St. Maryâs Catholic Church in Tracy. Visitation will be from 5 â 7 pm on Tuesday at the Almlie-Horvath Funeral Home in Tracy with a CCW rosary held at 5:00 pm and a prayer service to follow at 7:00pm. Visitation will continue at the church on Wednesday one hour prior to the service from 10-11 am. Interment will be in the St. Maryâs Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Anna Lillian Rolling was born August 2, 1924 to George and Emma Franke in Baltimore, Maryland. During WWII she was employed by Martin Aircraft Company where she met her future husband. On December 31, 1944, Anne was united in marriage to Donald Rolling at St. Michaelâs Catholic Church in Baltimore, Maryland. The couple moved back to the Rolling family farm southwest of Tracy where Donald farmed until retiring in 1980. After retirement, they moved into Tracy. As a long time member of St. Maryâs Catholic Church, Anne was very active. She was a Eucharistic Minister, Sacristan, member of the Ladies Guild and Catholic Christian Workers and former member of Catholic Daughters.
Anne enjoyed sewing, knitting, and collecting dolls. For quite a few years she assisted Father three days a week with serving communion and setting up for masses. Most importantly, she enjoyed spending time with friends and family.
On Wednesday, May 13, 2015 Anne passed away peacefully with her family by her side at the Prairie View Senior Living in Tracy at the age of 90.
She is survived by her five sons Robert Rolling of Monticello, Nicholas (and Betty) Rolling of Spokane, WA, Steven (and Pat) of Gold Canyon, AZ, David (and Sandi) Rolling of River Falls, WI, and Ronald Rolling of Tracy;twin brother Barron (and Mary) Franke of Baltimore, MD; four grandchildren Scott, Kurt, Tonya, and Wendy, and five great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Don, one sister Rita, one brother George, and daughter-in-law Bonnie.
