Mass of Christian Burial for Arlys DePover, 81, of Marshall, will be at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 10, 2011, at St. Maryâs Chapel, Holy Redeemer School, in Marshall.· Visitation will be Wednesday, February 9, 2011, from 4:00 p.m. â 8:00 p.m. with a CCW Rosary at 4:00 p.m. and a Parish Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. at Rehkamp â Horvath Funeral Home in Marshall.· Visitation will continue from 12:00 p.m. â 1:00 p.m. Thursday at St. Maryâs Chapel, Holy Redeemer School.· Interment will take place at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis, MN.
Arlys Joyce (Herhusky) DePover was born on November 9, 1929, in Canby, MN, to Joseph and Anna (Anderson) Herhusky.· She grew up in Ivanhoe and graduated from Ivanhoe High School.· On January 10, 1949, she was united in marriage to Paul DePover Jr.· The couple made their home and raised their family in Marshall.· Arlys was a member and past-president of the American Legion Auxiliary and the Weiner Memorial Auxiliary.· She enjoyed playing cards, golf, bowling, knitting and crocheting.· She and husband, Paul enjoyed travelling and also enjoyed spending time with friends and family at the lake home in Alexandria.· Arlys was a 10 year cancer survivor and was very active with the Lyon County Relay for Life.· She died peacefully on Monday, February 7, 2011, after a short series of illnesses.
Arlys is survived by her husband, Paul, of Marshall, son Paul III (and Margaret) of Ionia, MI, their son, Tim, son Peter and Diane) of Inver Grove Heights, their daughter Ashley, daugHter Patricia Limon of Oklahoma City, OK, her son Patrick, son Philip (and Cheryl) of Fulda, daughter Pamela (and Dean) Coudron, of Marshall, their sons Darryl and Eric, son Patrick (and Teresa) of Des Moines, IA, their children Lauren, Paige and Nolan, son Perry of Marshall and his daughter, Taylor, one great-granddaughter, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.· She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers and sisters and one infant grandson.
