Audrey Almich

Audrey Ann (Tretbar) Almich was born on July 7, 1939, in Brown County, MN, to Clements and Lydia (Root) Tretbar. She was baptized and confirmed at First Presbyterian Church in Morgan, MN. Audrey attended Country School at Morgan and Morton Public Schools. She graduated from Morton in 1957. Audrey worked at Terstegs Super Valu in Redwood Falls, MN, until her marriage to Robert Almich on August 16, 1959. The couple was married at the St. Catherine Rectory in Redwood Falls. To this union were born Tim, Paul and Diana. They lived in Granite Falls, Canby and Marshall. After their marriage, Audrey was active in the Church Elizabeth Circle, Services Committee and was Teasurer of Presbyterian Women for over 30 years. She enjoyed reading, camping, gardening, walking and spending time with her family. Audrey died on Wednesday, November 23, 2016, at Avera Morningside Heights Care Center in Marshall. She is survived by her husband Robert, children Tim (and Melissa) Almich of Tea, SD, Paul (and Stacee) Almich of Aberdeen, SD, Diana (and Rick) Frye of Eden Prairie, grandchildren Mathew, Mikalyn, Jordan (and Nikki) great-grandchild Jordy, sister Jean Barber, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.
