Beatrice Ann Kapolczynski Knutson

Beatrice Ann (Kapolczynski) was born on May 28, 1938, in Ivanhoe, to John and Martha (Tomaszewski) Kapolczynski. As a child, she moved with her family to Marshall where she graduated from high school. Beatrice did office work for a time before uniting in marriage to Leon Knutson on April 16, 1966, at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. The couple made their home and raised their family in Marshall. Beatrice enjoyed traveling, going to casinos, playing cards and collecting Boyd’s Bears. She was most passionate about spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. After a brief illness, Beatrice died on Thursday, November 14, 2013, at her residence in Marshall. She is survived by her daughter Sandra (and Mark) Enemark of Tyler, son David (and Nancy) Knutson of Marshall, grandchildren Kristin (fiancé Reid VanEck), Brandon, Nicole and Mackenzie, in-laws Anita (and Herb) Himrich, Ila (and Elmer) Possail, Keith (and Diane) Knutson, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Leon, siblings Eleanor Geurts, Adeline Janiszeski and in-laws Bud (and Joyce) Knutson. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Prairie Home Hospice of Marshall.
