Bernard (Ben) Emmit Fox

Bernard E. Fox was born on December 25, 1953 in Marshall to Eugene and Bertha (Verschelde) Fox. After graduating from Minneota High School, Ben worked construction for many years and was highly skilled in bricklaying. He also worked for Superior Trust. One of Ben’s greatest achievements was his service of 20 plus years to the Minneota Fire Department. In his spare time, Ben enjoyed spending time outdoors hunting of fishing at one of his favorite lakes: Goose Lake and Lake John. Bernard will be sadly missed by his children, Eric (Becky) Fox of Garvin, Amy (Darrell) Rasmussen of Dawson, Dean Fox of Montevideo; sister, Sherry DeVos of Ghent. Bernard died on January 7, 2013 at Morningside Heights Care Center in Marshall at the age of 59. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Bertha Fox.
