Bernett Ferbuyt

Bernett was born on December 12, 1930 in Kelso Township, Sibley County, MN to Paul and Emma (Mueller) Wagner. She spent most of her youth in Morton, MN. On May 26, 1950, Bernett was united in marriage to Donald “Red” Ferbuyt. The couple made their home and raised their family in Ghent. Bernett served on every office of the Ghent American Legion Auxiliary, from Secretary to President. She worked at the Schwan Food Company for 14 years. Bernett volunteered at the Hospital Thrift Shop in Marshall and served various committees at Christ Evangelical Lutheran church including the Funeral Committee. Bernett’s greatest loves in life were God and her family. She was passionate about music and loved to dance. Bernett loved to laugh, loved to travel and loved having fun. She entered into the Glory of the Lord on June 5, 2009, at the Avera Marshall Regional Medical Center. She leaves a large heart-shaped void in her children, their spouses, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her warmth, humor and zest for life engulfed everyone around her.
