Betty (Cope) Henle was born on May 14, 1926 at home in Westerheim Township near Minneota, Minnesota to James & Clara Cope.
Betty was deeply devoted to God her family and her friends. She has been a member of St. Stephen Lutheran Church since 1964 and was an active member of the Sarah Circle. She loved playing bridge with her friends and going to the lake. She also loved playing Dominoes, Skip-bo, Spinner and 500 with her relatives and grandchildren.
During her lifetime, she worked for Northwestern Bell Telephone Company as a chief operator. She also sold advertising for the family newspaper, the Lyon County Independent. She was currently the owner of Henle Printing Company in Marshall.
Betty was involved in the American Legion Auxiliary, serving as President.
She was also a member of the VFW and Eagles, a committed Republican, and a believer in the American dream.
For her, Christmas was the most magical time of the year. She loved the lights and decoration that celebrated the holy season.
Survivors included her children Michelle (and Al) Bossuyt, and Michael (and
Judy) Henle; six grandchildren, Ashley, Megan, Spencer, Ryne, Mackenzie, and Noah. She is also survived by her sister, Viola Werner of Marshall.
She was proceeded in death by her husband, Ray Henle, her parents, and one brother, Reed (Robert) Cope. She will be sadly missed.
