Beverly Grace Johnson

Beverly G. Johnson age 65 of Tracy, MN died Friday, December 4, 2009 at the Prairie View Healthcare Center in Tracy. Services will be 2:00 PM Thursday, December 10, 2009 at the Tracy United Methodist Church. Visitation will be from 4:00 until 8:00 PM with a prayer service at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, December 9, 2009 at the Almlie Funeral Home in Tracy, and continuing one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday. Interment will be at the Tracy City Cemetery. The Almlie Funeral Home of Tracy is handling the arrangements. Beverly Grace Johnson was born in Alexandria, MN on January 31, 1944 to William and Esther (Lindgren) Hetland of Eagle Bend, MN. She attended Eagle Bend Public Schools. On September 28, 1964 Beverly married Leland Johnson in Brookings, SD. They made their home in Tracy, MN until 1971 when they moved to Orlando, FL. In 1978 the returned to Minnesota and moved to Princeton, where they lived until 1992, when they retired and moved back to Tracy. Beverly was no stranger to work, growing up on a farm and holding many factory jobs through out her life. At the time of her retirement she was employed by the Schwann’s Food Company of Marshall, MN as a custodian. After 38 years of marriage, her husband’s died in 2002 and Beverly remained in their home in Tracy. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was always happy playing cards and finding ways to put smiles on her family’s faces, with her “say it like it is attitude”. In June of 2009 Beverly became a resident of the Prairie View Healthcare Center in Tracy, where she died Friday, December 4, 2009 at the age of 65. Beverly is survived by her three daughters, Linda Johnson, JoAnn (Tim) Martin and Sue Ann (Chad) Moyars, all of Tracy, MN; five grandchildren, Krystal Martin of Marshall, MN, Dustin and Shelby Martin of St. Peter, MN and Kendra and Kailee Moyars of Tracy, MN; three great grandchildren, Madison Martin of Tracy, MN and Skylar and Kailyn Westberg of Marshall, MN; one sister, Mildred Schlueter of Minneapolis, MN; two brothers, Wilbert Hetland of Eagle Bend, MN and Steven Titrud of Willmar, MN; one sister-in-law, Adeline Johnson of Tracy, MN; many nieces, nephews and friends. Her husband, Leland, her parents, and one sister, Verona preceded her in death.
