d. May 18, 2008

Beverly ELaine (Isaackson) Lange was born on February 5, 1942, in GraniteFalls to Therald and Helen (Olson) Isaackson. She was baptized and confirmed at Silo Lutheran Church (later became Christ LutheRan Church) in Cottonwood. Bev grew up and attended school in Cottonwood. On September 12, 1958, she was united in marriage to Delbert Lange. After the Cottonwood Golf Club opened in 1976, Bev worked tirelessly as manager from 1977 – 1984. In 1984, she began working as an office assistant for the Cottonwood Agronomy Center. She enjoyed this job very much and enjoyed the fellowship with her coworkers. Bev also enjoyed traveling, especially to her time-share in Mexico, golfing and watching a wide variety of television programs. She enjoyed shopping at Herbergers, eating at Red Lobster, and was an Elvis Pressley fan. Bev belonged to the Cottonwood chapter of the Red Hat Ladies’ Society. She was very fond of her cats, Otis and Amis. In 1996, Bev built a homE on Lake Cottonwood. This home was her pride and joy, she enjoyed taking care of it and especially mowing the lawn. She lived there until health issues caused her to move to Boulder Estates in Marshall in 2006. She recently moved to the Fieldcrest Apartments in Cottonwood. Bev died suddenly on Sunday, May 18, 2008, at the Avera Marshall Medical Center in Marshall, due to complications from cancer. She is survived by her mother, Helen Hildebrant of Cottonwood, children Lisa (Jeff) Varpness, Terry (Mendy) Lange and Deb (Chuck) Ness of Cottonwood, 11 grandchildren, and one brother, Tom Isaackson of Cottonwood. She was preceded in death by her father, Therald Isaackson, and one granddaughter, Stephanie Javens.
