Carl Tengdin

Carl was born June 18, 1921, in Joliet, Illinois to Carl B. and Esther (Larson) Tengdin. He served as a civilian flight instructor for the United States Air Corp during WWII and served in the United States Army. Carl married Dorothy Beeson in Joliet, Illinois and they had two children together. He lived most of his life with his wife and family in the Joliet, Illinois area before moving to Florida. He died Saturday, September 19, 2009, at the Morningside Heights Care Center in Marshall. He is survived by his children, son Terry Tengdin and wife Judy of Buckley, Michigan, daughter Jane Oster and husband Ray of Marshall; four grandchildren, Michael Tengdin of Los Angeles, CA, Christopher Tengdin of Kingsley, MI, Robert Tengdin of Kingsley, MI, and Hayley Oster, of Marshall; and six great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Dorothy and a sister Ruby Ann Sandberg,
