Chloris was born on March 29, 1929, in Milroy, to Harold and Helen (Edwards) Solseth. She grew up in Milroy and graduated from Milroy High School in 1947. Chloris was united in marriage to John Molle in 1948. The couple lived in St. Cloud and St. Paul while John attended the William Mitchell Law School. They returned to Marshall in 1954. Chloris was very active in the community. She worked as a Firearms Safety Instructor and Fishing Guide for the State of Minnesota Womenâs Fishing Association. She belonged to the American Legion, VFW and PEO. Chloris was also a Camp Fire Girls and Cub Scout Den Leader. She worked with her husband as a legal secretary. Chloris was also a caregiver to many senior residents of Marshall for many years.
Chloris died on Saturday, November 29, 2008, at the Prairie Home Hospice House in Marshall. She is survived by her children Ellen (Philip) Skramstad of Marshall, Valerie (Dave) Doner of Jacksonville, FL, John (Jane) Molle of Delmar, MA, Phillip (Sandra) Molle of Woodbridge, VA, six grandchildren, one great-grandchild, siblings Harold Solseth Jr. of Colorado Springs, Richard Solseth of Savage, MN, Leona Jean McLain of Sycamore, IL, Elaine Brewers of Ghent. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband John, siblings Jeanine Schumacher, Douglas Solseth and Patricia Ellingson.
