Cody Michael Hartson

Cody Michael Hartson, age 13, of Revere, MN passed away unexpectedly in Garvin on Monday, July 14, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, July 19, 2014 at the Garvin Congregational Church in Garvin. Visitation will be held from 4 – 8 pm on Friday at the church with a prayer service at 7:30 pm. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday. Cody Michael Hartson was born on March 1, 2001 to Jeremy Hartson and Annie Hardenberger in Rochester, Minnesota. He spent most of his life in the Southwest Minnesota area. He attended Walnut Grove Public Schools and was a member of the Garvin Congregational Church in Garvin. Cody loved playing video games, legos, watching derby cars, playing and watching softball, playing the clarinet in band, and just spending time with his family and friends. He was happy-go-lucky all the time and will be greatly missed by many. He is survived by his parents, Jeremy (Tara) Hartson of Revere, and Annie Hardenberger of Garvin; siblings, Marc Hardenberger of Marshall, Ashley Hardenberger (fiancé Jackson Barker) of Marshall, Skyler Hartson of Garvin, and Brilynn Curry of Revere; grandparents, Betty Hardenberger of Garvin, and Rick Hartson (fiancé Terry Murphy) of Revere; cousins, and extended family. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harold Hardenberger, Barb Helmbolt, and Melvin Helmbolt, and great grandma, Anne Lauwers. Blessed be his memory.
