Constance Alice Andries

Funeral service at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 11, 2014, at Almlie-Horvath Funeral Home in Tracy. Visitation one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Tracy. Constance Alice Andries was born to John and Leah (Giroux) Kass on April 13, 1933 in Tracy, Minnesota. She grew up with her family in Amiret and was baptized and confirmed in the Catholic Faith at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Tracy. She graduated from Tracy High School in 1951. On October 11, 1954, Constance was united in marriage to Charles Robert Andries at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Tracy and they made their home in California where she remained for 58 years. She worked at Wells Fargo Bank for 20 years in Hacienda Heights, California and was a member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church in California. She was also active with the California VFW Post 1944 with her husband Charles. After Charles’ death on January 13, 1995, Constance remained in California until 2012, when she moved to Prescott, Arizona. Connie enjoyed making latch hook rugs, sewing, collecting spoons and plates, loved the “grand dogs”, enjoyed traveling, and loved spending time spoiling her grandsons. On Thursday, November 6, 2014, Connie passed away at the Good Samaritan Hospice House in Prescott, Arizona. She is survived by her three children, Charlotte (Michael) Smith of Waco, TX, Cynthia Andries of Ontario, CA, and Charles (Cynthia) Andries of Dewey, AZ; four grandsons, Ian, Erik, Kyle, and Curtis Smith; four great-grandchildren; and many extended family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Charles, two sisters, Lorraine Lanoue, and Agnes Caron, and one brother, Kenneth Kass. Blessed be her memory.
