Cyril A. Buysse age 92 of Tracy, MN died Wednesday, April 23, 2008 at the Sanford-Sioux Valley Medical Center in Sioux Falls, SD. Services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, April 26, 2008 at the St. Maryâs Catholic Church in Tracy. Visitation will be from 4:00 until 8:00 PM Friday, April 25, 2008 at the Almlie Funeral Home in Tracy, with a rosary at 4:00 PM and a prayer service at 7:30 PM Friday evening. Interment will be at the Calvary Cemetery. The Almlie Funeral Home of Tracy is handling the arrangements.

Cyril Albert Buysse was born January 29, 1916 to Camiel and Emma (DeBacher) Buysse in Oast Eecloo, Belgium. At the age of four he came to Minnesota and grew up in the Marshall, MN area. He attended Country School District #7 and Holy Redeemer in Marshall and was baptized and confirmed in the Catholic Church.
On February 12, 1941 Cyril married Sophie Labat at St. Clothilda Catholic Church in Green Valley, MN. They farmed near Minneota and Marshall until 1959, when they moved north of Tracy. In 1978 they moved into Tracy, MN and recently in March of 2008 they moved into the OâBrien Court Apartments in Tracy.
Cyril was a member of the St. Maryâs Catholic Church in Tracy and a past member of the Farm Bearreu. A farmer his whole life, Cyril enjoyed keeping track of his sonâs farm and spending time with his family, especially playing games with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Cyril is lovingly remembered by his survivors, wife, Sophie Buysse of Tracy, MN; four daughters, Kathleen (Ken) Garrett of Wilmington, NC, Carole (Bill) Craig of Dassell, MN, Bev (Myron) Kovash of Livingston, MT, and Cheryl (Mike) Eischens of Minnetonka, MN; two sons, David (Sue) Buysse and Dan (Deb) Buysse both of Tracy, MN; fifteen grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; one brother, Gus Buysse of Marshall, MN; sister-in-law, Mary Buysse of Luverne, MN; many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
His parents, one infant son, Roger, one grandson, Brian, one brother, Leo and two sisters and their husbands, Mary (Louis) DeBaere and Louise (Gus) Labat preceded him in death.
