Darren Edward Thovson

A Celebration of Life for Darren Thovson, 43, of St. Cloud will be from 2 pm - 5 pm on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at The Caboose in Tracy. Interment will follow the celebration of life at the Tracy Community Cemetery.

Darren Edward Thovson was born on August 31, 1978, in Canby, to Dale Thovson and Julie (Newton) Roby. Darren moved to St. Cloud and worked at New Flyer. He followed his dreams and became an owner/operator of Thovson Trucking. Darren loved riding his Harley with friends, Keeley, burnouts, bonfires, snowmobiling, being with his friends, and his dog Daisy.

Darren passed away at his residence in St. Cloud on Saturday, October 16, 2021. He is survived by his father Dale Thovson of Elk River; brother Leroy Thovson of Wisconsin; girlfriend Keeley Lynell; aunts and uncles Wayne and Grace Thovson of Princeton, Kathy and Tom Staniszewski of Brookings, SD, Criss and Rhonda Newton of Brookings, SD, Dana and Becky Newton of Moundridge, KS, Eric and Vicky Newton of Eden Prairie, and Jill and Lane Petersen of Tyler and many cousins that loved him. Darren is preceded in death by his loving mother Julie Roby, his brothers Jeremy Thovson and Matthew Roby, stepdad Jesse Roby, and his grandparents.
