David Lee Norman was born on April 23, 1985, in Terre Haute, IN, to David and Kathy Norman. He grew up in Minneota and graduated from Minneota High School. David worked for Universal Forest Products and Reinhart Food Company for a time before moving to St. Cloud where he worked at Coldspring Granite Company and New Flyer Bus Company. He was an intelligent, witty, sensitive, caring young man who loved life. David enjoyed outdoor summer activity including camping, swimming, spending time at Camden Park and hiking with friends. He also enjoyed playing video games and going to movies. He was an excellent cook and was fond of his pet dogs, especially his bull terrier Zena. David died unexpectedly on Thursday, January 11, at his residence in St. Cloud. He is survived by his mother Kathy Norman of Minneota, father David Norman of IN, sister Ashley (and Jim Ludewig) of Sleepy Eye, nephews and niece Wyatt, Katelyn and William, grandmother Lorraine Swedzinski of Minneota, uncles Paul Swedzinski (and Darlene Josephson) of Minneota and Mark Swedzinski of Sioux Falls, SD. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Edward Swedzinski, cousin Luke Swedzinski and Aunt Susan Swedzinski.
