Donna Jo Sikorski was born on April 21, 1938 in Murdo, South Dakota to Donald and Evelyn (Hulce) McKenzie. She was baptized and confirmed in the Methodist faith and graduated from Murdo High School. She continued her education and graduated from the University of South Dakota in Vermillion with a business degree. On November 21, 1964, Donna was united in marriage to Kenneth Sikorski in Murdo, SD. They made their home in Moorhead, MN for a couple of years. They then moved to Worthington and Marshall before moving to Park Rapids. In 2014, Donna became a resident at the Minneota Manor in Minneota. She was a member of Cornerstone United Methodist Church and volunteered at the Marshall hospital for several years. She was also a taste tester for Schwans. She enjoyed golfing, bowling, playing bridge, baking chocolate chip cookies and spending time with her family and friends. On Tuesday, March 28, 2017 Donna passed away at the Minneota Manor in Minneota at the age of 78. She is survived by her husband Kenneth Sikorski of Park Rapids; children Kim (Paul) Vroman of Marshall and Kent Sikorski of Marshall; grandchildren Dalton and Kendra Vroman and Jasmine Zimmer; and many extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.
