Doris Therese (Hacker) Rehder was born on December 12, 1928, in Morgan, to Joseph and Anna Hacker. She grew up in Morgan and attended school in Morgan and at Good Counsel School in New Ulm. After she graduated, Doris moved to California where she worked as a nurseâs aide. She later moved to Montevideo and in the 1960s to Marshall. She worked at the Marshall Nursing Home and for ten years as a Unit Coordinator at REM. Doris enjoyed following her soap operas on television and activities at the senior center including bingo, cards and helping with the soup label school fundraiser. Doris died on Monday, May 28, 2007, at the Minneota Manor in Minneota. She is survived by her children Lynne Marie Fox of Hollywood, CA, Victoria Rae Prairie of Willmar, Michelle Ann Sterud of Denver, CO, Tamara Leigh (and husband Jesus) Pantoja of Marshall, Kimberly Kay Keegan of Boise, ID, Randall Jeffery (wife Theresa) Rehder of Oxnard, CA, 17 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, siblings Andrew, Allan and Irene, many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, sons Henry and Jeff, one grandchild and one brother.
