Douglas Michael Juhl was born on November 27, 1955, in Marshall, MN, to Donald and Jeanette (Dieken) Juhl. He grew up in Cottonwood, MN, and graduated from Cottonwood High School. Doug attended St. Cloud State University and Southwest State University. Throughout Dougâs life, he had worked in the banking industry, brokerage firms and then he later pursued his passion for sales and motorcycles as a salesman at Ultra Cycle and Orange County Harley Davidson in Irvine, Ca. Doug enjoyed cooking, entertaining his friends and family, meeting new people and visiting with them.
Doug died on Monday, February 17, 2014, at the Avera Marshall Regional Medical Center in Marshall. He is survived by his father, Donald Juhl of Marshall, his brother Steven Juhl, also from Marshall, sisters Barbara (and Jim) Louwagie of Norwood Young America, MN, and Beverly (and Jim) Goslar of Cherokee, IA. Nephews and nieces Amanda (and Dusty) Harris, Joshua Goslar, Sierra Juhl, Natasha Goslar, Anthony Fratzke and Ashley Louwagie and great niece Aubrey Harris. Doug was preceded in death by his mother, Jeanette (Dieken) Juhl.
