DuWayne was born on April 22, 1950 in Clarkfield, Minnesota to the late Quinton and Pearl Coover. He graduated from Clarkfield High School in 1968 and then went on to attend Southwest State University where he achieved a BS in Agriculture Science.
DuWayne married JoAnn Verhelst on September 14, 1974 and four beautiful daughters were born from this union. They made their home at the Coover Family Century Farm near Minneota; MN. Duie was a farmer and loved his land. He spent his time watching the markets, planting crops, and praying for rain. Duie loved his family and he was the fisherman extraordinaire. If he was not joking around and kidding his family and friends you could find him at the cabin on Big Stone Lake fishing from the dock or his boat. He was a loving and caring person, devoted husband, father, grandpa, and friend, always thinking of others first. âTo know him was to love him.â
