Emma Roberts

Emma Maude (Lee) Roberts was born on July 28, 1912, in Otter Tail County to Charles and Dollie (Watson) Lee. She was united in marriage to Henry Roberts on October 26, 1929. Amy worked in the kitchen at the Marshall Hospital for many years. She enjoyed quilting, playing bingo, baking, and was an avid card player. She will be remembered for her chocolate cake with peanut butter frosting. Amy was a member of the VFW Auxiliary. She died on Tuesday, July 7, 2009, at the Avera Marshall Regional Medical Center in Marshall. Amy is survived by her children Warren (and Bernice) Roberts, Gary (and Sylvia), Ty (and Judy), Judy (and Ralph) Orren, all of Marshall, Ron (and Patricia) of Manawa, WI, 26 grandchildren, 56 great-grandchildren and 23 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Henry, three sons, two grandsons, three great-grandsons and 8 siblings. Memorials preferred to the American Heart Association.
