Eric Joseph Dalle

Mass of Christian Burial for Eric Joseph Dalle, 40, of Marshall, will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 5, 2022, at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Marshall.  Visitation will be Friday, November 4, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. with a CCW Rosary at 5:00 p.m. and a Parish Prayer Service at 7:45 p.m. at the Horvath Remembrance Center in Marshall.  Visitation will continue on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. at the remembrance center.  A private interment will take place at a later date.  A livestream and recording of the service will be available at www.holy-redeemer.com.

Eric Joseph Dalle was born on July 28, 1982, in Juarez, Mexico, to John Jude and Julia Guadalupe (Serna) Dalle.  At the age of three, he moved with his family to Marshall.  Eric grew up here and graduated from Marshall High School in 2001.  He then attended Minnesota West Community & Technical College in Granite Falls, MN.  While working at the Wisconsin Badge Camp for people with special needs, located in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin, Eric became a couple with Shaina Hedeen.  To this union were born daughter Arianna (2-7-2008) and son Josiah (5-11-09.)  They lived in Texas for a time before moving to Sioux Falls, SD.  Eric had a few professions including Camp Counselor, Photographer, Electronics Tech and others.

Eric had a great personality and made friends easily.  He loved his kids and his family.  He also enjoyed authentic Mexican food, especially if prepared by his family.

Eric died tragically as the result of an automobile accident on Tuesday, October 25, 2022, in Chandler, MN.  He is survived by his daughter Arianna and son Josiah, their mother Shaina, his parents John and Julia Dalle, siblings Freddy (Rebecca) Dalle of Jasper, Sovia (Carlos Encina) of Mechanicsville, MD, Marcos (Megan) Dalle of Worthing, SD, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.  He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.
