Fern Ann Willgohs

Fern Ann Willgohs was born on July 23, 1919, in Scribner, NE, to Henry and Dora (Smeal) Hergenroder. Fern grew up and went to school in Scribner. She married Rudolph Willgohs on January 4, 1939, in Sioux City, Iowa. They moved to their farm north of Taunton in 1944 and farmed there until their retirement in 1976 when they moved to Minneota. Fern was an active member of Hope Lutheran Church. Fern enjoyed playing cards and visiting. She was a friend to all. Fern died on Sunday, July 5, 2009 at the Minneota Manor Care Center. Fern is survived by daughters Faye (James) Kluttz of Frederick, MD and Rita (Allan) Dovre of Minneota, four grandchildren Sara (Mahadev) Dovre Wudali of St. Paul, Kristin (Joe) Pinto of Frederick, MD, David (Paula) Dovre of Minneota, Jeff Kluttz of Frederick, MD, and nine great grandchildren Adiyta and Illa Dovre Wudali, Abigail, Joey and Andrew Pinto, Elaina and Lauren Kluttz and Autumn and Dawson Dovre. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brother, and one infant daughter.
