Frances died on Monday, July 28, 2008 at the Minneota Health Care Center in Minneota.
Frances was born on November 10, 1913 to John H and Katherine (Mullaney) Brenning. She attended St. Josephâs Academy and graduated from Marshall High School in 1931. She attended Mankato State College for three years. She worked and attended school in California for three years. As a young adult, Fran was very involved in Girl Scouts as a leader and then as a camp counselor. She was also employed by the University of Minnesota as a docent for a traveling Art exhibit in Southern Minnesota.
She was a member of Marshall Council of Catholic Women, Weiner Memorial Hospital Auxiliary and Catholic Daughters of America. She was employed at Rehkamp Home Furnishings and later at Larson Home Furnishings.
She is survived by five nieces: Catherine Brenning, Betty Davis and Peggy Stringham of Massachusetts and Marybeth Brenning and Judy Brenning of California, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Leo Brenning.
Frances was known by her family and friends as having a terrific mind and a wonderful sense of humor.
