The Bue Family is sad to announce the passing of Francile Mary (DeRue) Bue of Marshall, Minnesota, on October 2, 2009 from natural causes. Francile was born April 6, 1926, to George V. DeRue and Blanche Adeline Caron. She attended Holy Redeemer School (St. Joseph Academy) in Marshall, Holy Angels Academy in Minneapolis, MN, and St. Cloud Teachersâ College where she earned a teaching degree. Francile married Gerald Bue on July 16, 1953 at the Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Marshall. She very much enjoyed teaching kindergarten to children in Lakefield and Fairmont, MN. She was a life-long resident of Marshall and was very interested in the well-being of the Marshall community. She was also actively involved in farm management.
Francile died on Friday, October 2, 2009, at the Avera Marshall Regional Medical Center in Marshall.
She is survived by her husband Gerald Thomas Bue of Marshall; 4 sons and their spouses Brian and Pam Bue from Palmer, Alaska, Douglas and Valerie Bue from Juneau, Alaska, Fredrick and Kathy Bue from Fairbanks, Alaska, Robert Bue from Wrangell, Alaska,and a daughter and spouse Bridget and Sheriff Ahmed from Savage, MN, and 8 grandchildren. Francile was preceded in death by her parents. She will be deeply missed in the familyâs lives. May her soul rest in peace.
