Gerald Casper

The funeral service for Gerald Casper, 60, of Worthington, formerly of Tracy, will be at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 5, 2017, at the Life Remembrance Center of Tracy. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at Calvary Cemetery in Currie, Minnesota. Gerald died on Saturday, April 29, 2017, at the Ridgewood Residential Living Facility in Worthington, MN. Gerald Emanuel Casper was born in the Tracy hospital January 17, 1957, the 5th child of Jane and Bill (E.P.) Casper. Gerald attended the Special Needs Program in Slayton and graduated in 1975. In 1984 he moved to the McMillan Home in Worthington and in 1990 moved into his own apartment and started working at SILS Services. He moved to Owatonna in 1999 and in 2010 returned to Worthington where he lived at Ridgewood until his death. He loved to do "bookwork", take pictures, and fish. He was a very loving, tender-hearted person. He loved people and people loved him. Gerald was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Irene Moon. He is survived by his sister, Anntoinnette (Dave) Nealy, and brothers Anthony (Sarah) Casper and Ron (Diann) Casper and several nieces and nephews.
