Grace was born on August 30, 1919 in Clear Lake, South Dakota to Emil and Nora (Parker) Bublitz. She grew up in Clear Lake, South Dakota, where she graduated from High School. On October 17, 1942, Grace was united in marriage to Charles Lindner in Clear Lake. The couple moved to Marshall in the early 1950s where Grace worked as the office manager for local optometrist, Dr. Wands. Grace will be remembered as a good wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed gardening and was a very hard worker. Grace was a fighter and lived for two and a half years after being told she had a life expectancy of a few weeks. She died peacefully at her home on Wednesday, October 10, 2007, after a long battle with congestive heart failure. Grace is survived by her son Dennis Lindner of Danbury, WI, grandson Benjamin Lindner and his wife Carmen of LosAngeles, CA, granddaughter Amy Lindner and her fiancé Frank Bozzi of Chicago, great-grandson Christopher, sisters Sis, Ella, Babe, special friend Phyllis Tanghe and all of the nurses and staff of Prairie Home Hospice, who cared for her for the last few years. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Charles and brother Bud.
