Irene Mary Chudzik Riley

Irene died on December 5, 2012, at her residence in Carrollton, TX. Irene Mary (Chudzik) was born on March 14, 1923, in Tracy, to James and Anna Chudzik (maiden name Palaschek). She grew up in Tracy and graduated from Tracy High School. On December 11, 1942, she was united in marriage to Bernard, (Tim) Riley. After Bernard returned from his military service, the couple lived in Minneapolis for a time before making their home in Marshall. To this union were born two sons; David in 1947 and Bernard in 1951. In October of 1996, Irene moved to Carrollton, TX. She enjoyed painting as a hobby and was quite talented. She also enjoyed flower gardening. Irene was a loving mother and ensured that her kids received an education. She is survived by her sons David (and Dorothea) of Carrollton, TX, Bernard (and Darlene) of Chaska, three grandsons and two granddaughter and eight great grand childern. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Bernard, and siblings James, Julie, Lucille, Peter, Ruth and Walter.
