Irma Cattoor

Irma Ann Cattoor was born January 8, 1946 to Marcel and Bertha (Haneca) Blomme and passed into the hands of our Lord on December 24, 2017 at Fairview Ridges Hospital in Burnsville. Irma attended high school at Marshall Central Catholic and graduated in 1967 from St. Mary’s School of Nursing as a registered nurse. On August 26, 1967, Irma married Thomas Cattoor at Holy Redeemer Church who would be the love of her life for over 50 years. Irma worked in many nursing fields at the University of Minnesota, hospital nursing, insurance physicals and schools. Irma especially enjoyed her work with children at schools. After retirement, Irma continued helping patients through her business Tender Touch which specialized in lymph drainage and craniosacral therapy. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Irma loved spending time with family, friends and helping others in need. Irma is survived by her husband Tom, children Chantal (Joe) of Duluth with grandchildren Mercedes and Marguerite, Justin (Karyn) of Rosemount with grandchildren Cole and Ty, siblings Fran (Alice) of Dudley, NC, Nancy (Jim) of Burnsville and Richard (Jean) of Hackensack. Irma was preceded in death by her parents, Marcel and Bertha, sister Helen Gareri and brother-in-law Pete Gareri. Memorials preferred to Hope Harbor in Marshall, MN.
