Jean Ellen Gruhot

Jean Ellen (Tegels) Gruhot was born on April 4, 1941, in Marshall, to Joseph and Ida (Van Moer) Tegels. She grew up in Marshall and graduated from Central Catholic High School. On April 18, 1964, she was united in marriage to Lawrence Paul Gruhot. The couple made their home and raised their family in Marshall. Jean died on Wednesday, July 16, 2014, at the Prairie Home Hospice House in Marshall. She is survived by son Jason (and Mariela) Gruhot of Brooklyn, NY, son Steve (and Beth) Gruhot of Tacoma, WA, daughter Carey (and Brad) Deaver of Sioux Falls, SD, grandchildren Henry, Jackson, Samuel, Michael, Andrew and Brianna, and sister Joyce (and Edward) Cremerius. She was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence, parents, and brother Dwayne.
