Jeanette Ruth (Taylor) Davis was born on December 28, 1929, in Newark, Deleware, to Frederick and Lucille (Meyer) Taylor. Jeanette grew up and attended school in Newark. She worked for 24 years as an assembly line worker at Pepperidge Farms and for 10 years at the Mother Hubbardâs Daycare. In 2009, Jeanette moved to Minneota to be closer to family. She enjoyed crocheting and created blankets and other items for all of her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and their friends. She also enjoyed watching game shows and eating ice cream with her great grandchildren. Jeanette died unexpectedly at home on Thursday, July 15, 2010, in Minneota.
She is survived by her children Becky (and Tom) Esping of Minneota, Wayne (and Ramona) Davis of Lincoln, Delaware, Mark Davis of Salina, KS, 15 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, sisters Helen Malian of Phoenix, AZ, Ann (and Harry) Knight of Chiquita, VA, numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, friends, and her dog, Molly. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and two sisters.
