Jeffrey Paul Pesek

Jeffrey Paul Pesek was born on January 15, 1957, in Marshall, to Raymond and Adeline (DeVlaeminck) Pesek. He attended St. Edward Catholic School and Minneota High School. Jeff enlisted and served in the U.S. Army. After his honorable discharge, he returned to the Minneota area for a time. He later worked as a horse farrier in Arizona, Texas and Virginia. Due to declining health, Jeff returned to Ghent in March of 2014 to be close to family. He was an outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, trapping and fishing. He also enjoyed flower and vegetable gardening and canning. Jeff died on Monday, June 9, 2014, at his residence in Ghent. He is survived by his children Yasmin (and Jose) Graulau and their son Alex of Enterprise, AL, son Jesse (and Sharon) Pesek and their children Taytum, Trinity and Payton of Tacoma, WA; brother Tom Pesek of Ashland, WI; sister Paula (and Tim) Van Keulen of Ghent, their children Megan, Jade and Matt. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister-in-law Sandy.
