Jerome Ourada

Jerome James Ourada was born on September 26, 1948, in Marshall, MN, to Francis and Marcella (Wacek) Ourada. He was baptized, received first communion and confirmed at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Lucan. He graduated from Wabasso Public School in 1967. On April 22, 1972, he was united in marriage to Joyce Matter in Springfield, MN. Jerome worked in farming and construction. He enjoyed spending time with friends and family, especially over a cup of coffee or game of cards. Jerome died peacefully on Sunday, October 09, 2011, at the Prairie Home Hospice House in Marshall, surrounded by family, after a rapid decline in health due to an aggressive cancer. He is survived by his children Dale (and Myria) of Redwood Falls, Gaile (and Jason) Philipp of Stillwater, Mary Jo of Marshall, Kristal of Redwood Falls, grandchildren Rachel and Austin Ourada, siblings John (and Linda) of Salina, KS, Jim (and Mona) of Vesta, Ron (and Barb) of Fargo, ND, Terry (and Laurie) of Lucan, Lyle (and Rose) of Coraopolis, PA, David (and Judy) of Lucan, Sharon (and Art) Price of Mankato, sister-in-law Tammy of Marana, AZ, and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Alan and nephews Daniel and Brian Ourada.
