John Jensen

John Ronald Jensen was born July 6, 1949 in Tyler, to John and Betty (Ness) Jensen. John started his working career with his father on road construction. After that he became a semi driver for Schwans in Marshall for many years. He also ran heavy equipment for local contractors in road construction. John enjoyed buying, repairing and selling vehicles. Johns love was repairing and restoring electrical gadgets, motors, and anything with mechanical abilities. John had a great sense of humor and his favorite expression was "I have a plan", although those plans didn't always work out to his advantage. John died Thursday, August 9, 2012 in Marshall. Survivors include his son, Tim (and Tammy) of Marshall; son, Todd (and Alyson) of Detroit Lakes, MN and grandsons Coty and Cole; granddaughters, Jade, Brooklyn, and Tally; great grandson Ayden; sister Arlyss (and Lennis) Hovland of Marshall; Bonnie (and Myron) Walters of Faribault; brother Gary (and Renee) of Deltona, FL.; sister Crystal (Jay) Gislason of Lake Cochran and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother Brian and his parents. Blessed be the memory of John.
