Jon Oren Narveson

Jon Oren Narveson was born December 31, 1943, in Bricelyn, Mn, to Cliff and Irene (Dickman)  Narveson. Jon was married to Mary (Majerus) Narveson on July 31, 1965. They lived in Backus, Mn where their son Kurt was born until they moved to Minneota in 1968. Jon enjoyed teaching in Minneota for 30 years. Together they enjoyed fishing, camping, and being outdoors. They spent many years going up to northern Minnesota doing these things. 

Jon passed away on April 13th 2022, at the Avera Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD. He is survived by his son Kurt (Cathy), grandsons Ryan (Sabrina) and Eric, and great-granddaughters Makia, Everlee, Paisley, and Olivia; brothers Don (Glorya) and Ken (Sue) Narveson, and nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents Cliff and Irene, and wife Mary.
