Joyce Ann Garrow

Joyce Ann was born July 27, 1941 to Vincent and Eleanor (Marcotte) Garrow in Marshall. She was truly a blessing to her family and lived at home for 45 years under the loving care and support of her parents. In 1986 the staff at Prairie View in Slayton welcomed Joyce into their home. She enjoyed spending many hours of activity at the Daily Activities Center and going on vacations with the residents. Thank you to the staff, which became a part of Joyce’s family, for giving her many years of life, love and care. Joyce treasured spending time with people. Her favorite people were her nieces and nephews, whom she loved in a special way. Joyce’s life will be celebrated eight years later to the day her mom passed away. Joyce was a living angel on Earth and will be greatly missed by those she was able to show how to live, teach how to give and guide with a light of love. Survivors include her brothers, Gordy (Kathy) Garrow of Sioux Falls, SD, Tom (Dar) Garrow of Ruthton, Mary (Rick) Carstensen of Marshall; 8 nieces and nephews; 20 great nieces and nephews; 3 great-great nieces and nephews. On December 4, 2012 her parents welcomed her into Heaven. Blessed be the memory of Joyce Ann Garrow, one of God’s angels among us.
