Judith "Judy" Evelyn Roberts Orren

Judith Evelyn (Roberts) Orren was born on July 8th, 1943 in Marshall to Henry and Emma Roberts. She attended Central Catholic High School, graduating in 1962. On August 10th, 1963 Judy was united in marriage to Ralph Orren in Marshall, Mn. They lived in Marshall, and in 2002 began spending their winters in Apache Junction, Arizona. They shared 53 years of marriage and had two children, Jeff and Jim. After graduating, Judy worked for Coast to Coast and Gambles in downtown Marshall. In 1978, she went to work at Schott’s Electronics, retiring in 2001. Judy enjoyed playing blackjack and spending time with her family. She loved to bake and entertain and she never sent anyone away hungry. After Ralph’s passing, she moved and joined the Hill Street Family in Marshall. There, she gained many friends. Judy died on Friday, September 20, 2019, at the Avera Marshall Regional Medical Center in Marshall after suffering a stroke. She is survived by her children, Jeffery (Angie) Orren and James (Ann) Orren; grandchildren Austin (Lisa) Orren and Jacob Orren; great grandchild Lilah; brother Warren (Bernice) Roberts, Gary (Sylvia) Roberts, Tyrone (Judy) Roberts, Ronald (Patty) Roberts; sister-in-law Joanne Thompson; multiple nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph; parents Henry and Emma Roberts, Brothers Henry Jr., James, and Eugene Roberts.
