Katherine Kate Krueger Polesky

No services will be held for Katherine “Katie” Polesky, who died on Monday, July 22, 2013, at the Minneota Manor in Minneota. Katherine Krueger Polesky was born on June 14, 1921, in Sleepy Eye, MN, to Emil and Catherine (Bleninger) Krueger. She graduated from Sleepy Eye Public School, married, and moved to Marshall. Katie worked as a waitress at many local establishments. She later worked for the Schwan Food Company for 17 years and retired. Katie enjoyed golf, reading and gambling. She was a member of the Royal Neighbors, VFW and American Legion Auxiliary. She is survived by her son, Paul, and daughters, Patricia and Dorothy. She was preceded in death by her parents, infant son, eight brothers, six sisters and long-time friend, Slim Klein.
