Kathryn Lundquist

Kathryn Eleanor (Osborn) Lundquist was born on February 7, 1926, in Willmar, to Harry and Eleanor (Ennenga) Osborn. She grew up and attended school in Willmar. On April 9, 1947, she was united in marriage to James Sherman Lundquist. Kathryn worked at the Willmar Credit Bureau and later worked for many years as Credit Manager for what is now known as ACMC in Willmar. She and James moved to Bettendorf, IA, in 1974, where her husband continued his job as an agent for the rail road. Just prior to James’ death in 1986, the couple moved back to Willmar where they retired. In 1998, Kathryn moved to Marshall to be close to her daughter, son, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. “Nanny” as she was called was always surrounded by and enjoyed being a part of the lives of her grandchildren Stephanie, Anthony and Jennifer, and great-grandchildren Keara, Keyana, Kileigh Jueneman. They brought joy to her life. She enjoyed caring for Keara and teaching her math and reading as a toddler and taking care of her after school. They watched Scooby Doo movies together. She also enjoyed all the hugs and kisses that Keyana and Kileigh loved to give her and sharing her ice cream treats. Kileigh loves ice cream as much as Nanny did. Nanny wanted to be able to see her newest grandchild, Cole Anthony. She had that chance while in the hospice house. She enjoyed holding Cole and napping with him. Kathryn enjoyed baking pies, crocheting and reading. Kathryn died on Sunday, September 01, 2013, at the Prairie Home Hospice House in Marshall. She is survived by her children James (and Judy) Lundquist Jr. of Mesa, AZ, Bradley (and Kim) Lundquist of Little Falls, Pamela (and Richard) Jueneman of Marshall, Timothy Lundquist of Marshall, grandchildren Christopher (and Marybeth) Lundquist, Tamara (and Gene) Crabbe, Jeannie (and Nick) Palmer, Ben (and Katy) Lundquist, Jackie Hamstad, Stephanie Raines, Anthony (and Amanda) Jueneman, Jennifer Jueneman, Jessica and Melissa Lundquist, great-grandchildren Keara, Keyana, Kileigh, and Cole Anthony Jueneman, Jeskya and Jake Lundquist, Ben and Brady Palmer, Morgan Hamstad and Max and Kenzie Lundquist, Elizabeth and Victoria Crabbe. Siblings; LeRoy Osborn Red Oak, IA, Elaine Thompson Willmar, MN. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband James, siblings Walter, Harry, Robert, Harris, Gary and Gerald Osborn.
