Lawrence Pesch

Lawrence was born on April 3, 1941 on the family farm outside of Minneota, the son of Wayne and Maria (Rafnson) Pesch. His family moved near Elbow Lake in 1952 and he later graduated from Ashby High School. He served in the United States Army from 1958 – 1962. Lawrence married Joyce Cowan in 1964 and they had three children, Jeff, Sheri and Chris. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, the outdoors, and his dogs. He is survived by his children, Jeff Pesch and his wife Peg of Rockford, Minnesota Sheri Brown and husband Mark of Stillwater, and Chris Pesch and wife Michelle of Eagan; three grandchildren, Michele, Brittany and Joshua Pesch; three sisters Lois Chlebecek of Ghent, Mavis Verschelde of Ivanhoe , Ruth Van Hyfte of Porter; brothers Lyle Pesch and wife Marjorie of Taunton , and Gene Pesch and wife Jill of Bemidji ; two sisters-in-law Marge Pesch of Stillwater, and Gloria Pesch of Ashby; and many nieces and nephews. Lawrence was preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Maria Pesch, brothers, Wally and Donnie, a sister Dorothy in infancy, and long time companion Sara Duvall.
