Leah Ann Langin Facile

Leah Ann (Langin) Facile was born on August 4, 1963, in Marshall, to Ron and Nadine (Schlenker) Langin. She grew up in Marshall and graduated from Marshall High School in 1981. On May 27, 1989, she was united in marriage to Brad Facile at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Leah worked as a Pharmacy Technician at Thrifty White and Cash Wise which later became Hy-Vee. She was a loving mother and her family was her passion. She especially enjoyed family vacations and following her children’s sporting activities including Emily’s gymnastics and softball and Matthew’s baseball and wrestling. She also enjoyed reading and tending to her flowers. Leah died unexpectedly on Thursday, May 9, 2013, after a lengthy battle with leukemia. She is survived by her husband, Brad, of Marshall, children Emily, currently a student studying Nursing at SDSU in Brookings and Matthew, Junior at Marshall High School, parents Ron and Nadine Langin of Marshall, brother Michael, sister-in-law Heidi and their children Darrick, McKayla and Bailey of Marshall, and other extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents.
