LeRoy Henry Hebrank was born on July 11, 1937, in Canby, to Charles and Mary (Janssen) Hebrank. He grew up in the Minneota area and graduated from Minneota High School in 1956. On June 6, 1959, he was united in marriage to Jane Bauer at St. Edward Catholic Church. The family made their home in Minneota. LeRoy did road construction, highway surfacing from 1963 â 1969. He also ran the Legion Lanes Bowling Alley in Minneota for a time and later worked in building construction and most recently for the Lyon County Highway Department, retiring in 1999. After Janeâs death in 1992, LeRoy was united in marriage to Pat DeVlaeminck on May 29, 1993. He enjoyed hunting, gambling and fishing.
LeRoy died unexpectedly at his residence on Saturday, May 09, 2015. He is survived by his wife, Pat, of Minneota, children Kevin (and Gwen) Hebrank of Ham Lake, MN, Chris (and Wanda) Hebrank of Marshall, Nancy Felton (and friend Terry Fisher) of Marshall, step daughters Tracy (and Dan) Stacken of Waconia, Tammy (and Joel) Bill of Redwood Falls, grandchildren Samantha and Nevin Hebrank, Jennifer (and Patrick) Umphrey, Melissa Hebrank (and fiancé Matt Speakman), Seth Fales, Monica Fales, Adan Felton, step-grandchildren Nathan Stacken (and fiancé Kelsey Boese), Jeremya (and Justine) Des Lauriers, Ryan Stacken, Zach DesLauriers, Jahger Bill and Jahlyn Bill, great-grandchildren Isaiah and Audrey Umphrey and Jaxon and Jennavieve DesLauriers, brother Andrew Hebrank of San Antonio, TX, Mary Ann (and Bob) Driemeyer of Minneota, Kathy (and Dick) De Neui of Hill City, SD, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife Jane, one sister in infancy and sister-in-law Marge.
