Lionardo Jimenez Garcia age 6 of Tracy, MN died Tuesday, June 2, 2009 at his families home in Tracy. Services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, June 6, 2009 at the Almlie Funeral Home in Tracy. Visitation will be from 5:00 until 8:00 PM Friday, June 5, 2009 also at the Almlie Funeral Home in Tracy. Interment will be at the Tracy City Cemetery. Lionardo Jimenez Garcia was born on July 20, 2002 to Aaron Jimenez and Maria Garcia in Granite Falls, Minnesota, Yellow Medicine County. He was baptized in the Christian faith. His family lived in Hanley Falls for a short time, and then moved to Moorhead, MN, before moving to Tracy, MN in February of 2009. He enjoyed watching TV, especially cartoons, and spending time with his family. Born with an incurable disease and not expected to live but for a short time, Lio touched many lives and will always be remembered for his good spirits and wonderful smile. On June 2, 2009 Lio died at his home, surrounded by his loving family, at the age of 6 years old. Lionardo is survived by his father, Aaron Jimenez; mother, Maria Garcia and step-father, Miguel Facio of Tracy, MN; two brothers, Miguel Garcia and Aaron Jimenez, both of Tracy, MN; two sisters, Evelyn and Mariana Jimenez, both of Tracy, MN; grandparents, Jose and Epifania Arriola of Cottonwood, MN; many uncles, aunts and cousins. He is preceded in death by his grandfather.
